Welcome to Deeply Relaxed
A holistic practice for recovery, relaxation, and body-oriented guidance in Arnhem-Noord.
My mission is to support people in their recovery process from stress, exhaustion, and overload, through a holistic approach that brings together body, mind, and embodied awareness.
What makes Deeply Relaxed unique
What makes Deeply Relaxed special is the way different modalities come together, enriched with carefully chosen techniques that work deeply and support true healing.
1. Restorative Gentle (Somatic) Yoga
I work with a trauma-sensitive, meditative form of yoga in which the nervous system is central. My classes are strongly inspired by:
- 
Somatic movement practices (such as Body-Mind Centering, Somatic Movement Therapy) – retraining the nervous system through slow, mindful movement.
 - 
Polyvagal theory – supporting nervous system regulation through breath, interoception (sensing from within), and cultivating safe presence.
 - 
Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra – deep relaxation by fully supporting the body in restful postures.
 
2. Holistic Energetic Massage
My massages combine classical relaxation techniques with elements from:
- 
Energetic bodywork – using acupressure and intuitive hands-on techniques to support release and balance.
 - 
Somatic bodywork – a gentle approach that listens to the “whispers” of the body and moves with what arises. Through mindful touch, breath coaching, and energetic attunement, I support the self-healing capacity of body and mind, fully adapted to your unique needs.
 - 
Holistic Pulsing – a rhythmic, gentle rocking technique that helps the body release tension and stimulates the natural flow of energy.
 - 
Hands-on Healing – healing touch aimed at supporting the body’s own restorative capacity by fostering energetic and physical balance.
 
3. Sound & Voice Work
I use sound as a direct gateway into relaxation and expanded awareness. My sound sessions may include elements of:
- 
Voice healing – using my own voice to create resonance, calm, and healing.
 - 
Crystal bowls, rainsticks, and shamanic instruments – for deep relaxation and energetic cleansing.
 - 
Vocal toning and harmonies – at times guiding the client to make sound themselves, releasing tension through the voice.
 
Who is Deeply Relaxed for?
My practice is for adults who:
- 
experience long-term stress or burnout;
 - 
struggle with tension-related symptoms or chronic fatigue;
 - 
are recovering from trauma or emotional exhaustion;
 - 
are highly sensitive (HSP) or easily overstimulated;
 - 
long for body-oriented relaxation and awareness.
 
My vision on well-being
I believe that true relaxation and healing are only possible when body and mind work together. That’s why I focus on the connection between physical relaxation, emotional processing, and energetic balance.
